WENATCHEE, Wash. — A multi-agency manhunt is intensifying for 32-year-old Travis Caleb Decker, who is wanted in connection with the kidnapping and brutal killing of his three young daughters—Paityn; Evelyn, and Olivia, —in what authorities are calling one of the most disturbing cases in recent memory.
The U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force is leading the search for Decker, working in coordination with the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Border Patrol, Washington State Patrol, Washington Department of Corrections, and Wenatchee Police Department.
Decker, a Wenatchee-area resident and former military member with extensive tactical training, failed to return his daughters to their mother on May 30 following a scheduled visitation. The Wenatchee Police Department immediately launched an investigation and issued an Endangered Missing Person Alert.
A widespread search across Chelan County culminated in the discovery of Decker’s abandoned vehicle in Leavenworth on June 2. Tragically, the bodies of all three girls were found nearby. Decker was not located at the scene and remains at large.
Initial arrest warrants for custodial interference have since been upgraded. Decker is now wanted on three counts of First-Degree Murder and three counts of First-Degree Kidnapping.
Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant. Although Decker is not currently believed to be armed, law enforcement emphasizes that he should be considered extremely dangerous due to his tactical background.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading directly to Decker’s arrest.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102 or reach out to local law enforcement immediately.
This remains a rapidly developing investigation. More details will be released as they become available.
